THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The education department is thinking to conduct the SSLC and higher secondary exams in a week’s interval after the lockdown. The exams were held earlier at the same time. Most probably plus one exams will be postponed.

A decision will be taken on it after Education Minister C Raveeendranath holds discussions with the chief minister tomorrow. Examinations will be held on consecutive days. Plus two exam will be held in the morning and SSLC in the afternoon. Only two will be allowed to sit in a bench.

A decision has not been taken on whether to conduct the exams after the start of public transportation. If it is conducted before that, then an alternative method to bring the children to the school in time has to be arranged. The meet to be held tomorrow will discuss it.
