rain

THIRUVANANTHAPURM: This time, too, Kerala that is shuddering at Covid epidemic is likely to get shattering rains, according to hints. Though possibility for floods are very rare, rivers may overflow and dams will fill due to heavy rains, according to weather forecast.

This time there was not even half of normal summer rains and therefore the temperature has been high over the past one and a half month.

The temperature has not gone below 35 Degree Celsius during day time or 26 degree Celsius during the night.

This will result in heating of the atmosphere, resulting in strong North-West winds hitting Kerala. This is favorable for rains.

Monsoon timings will not change

Whether Covid cases disappear or not…schools reopen or not, Monsoon will reach Kerala costs on June, says Indian Met department.

The temperature of calm seas in south middle is a deciding factor in the quantity of rains to be received by Kerala. Here it is cold now and hence, clouds will be thicker. Those clouds will flow towards Kerala but will not cross the Western Ghats, but will pour down as heavy rains.
