THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Those who want to do inter-district travel can apply for their passes online through www.pass.bsafe.kerala.gov.in, CM Vijayan said. The applicant will receive a link to the pass.
The chief minister had earlier said that people who want passes should approach nearby police stations. However, an online facility for the pass became necessary as many found it practically difficult to visit police stations.
Meanwhile, Keralites stranded abroad will start returning to the state from tomorrow on flights and ships. As per official information, two flights will fly to Kerala on Thursday carrying expats-Abudhabi to Kochi and Saudi Arabia to Kozhikode, the CM said.
The state will take will be careful in managing the returning Malayalis. Returnees should keep vigil throughout their journey, at airports and their places of stay. Facilities for the returnees are ready, CM Vijayan added.
