NEW DELHI: A decision has been made on operating train services to bring back Kerala students stranded in other states. The first service will begin from New Delhi. The Railway Ministry has given permission for special trains for this purpose. As soon the final nod is received from Home ministry, the train service will start.
Mainly students from five states – Punjab, JK, Chandigarh, New Delhi and Rajasthan will be brought to Kerala in the first phase.
The Railways added that the above services will be exclusively for students.
