KOCHI: The government informed the Kerala High Court that the state is fully equipped to receive the Indians returning from abroad. The government said 1,15,500 rooms are ready to place them in quarantine.

The government had sanctioned an amount of Rs 13.45 crore for all districts in preparation for the repatriation of expatriates. Almost 9000 rooms have been arranged in hotels and resorts for non-resident Keralites. They should bear the expenses of it. Almost 4.52 lakh Indians have registered in NORKA. The government informed the court that there are nearly 9572 pregnant women wishing to return.
