KOZHIKODE: There will 189 persons on board the Air India special flight from Dubai to Karippoor. Out of this, 74 are Kozhikode natives with 52 men and 22 women. 85 of these passengers can return home.

The passengers of the flight will be subjected to a strict medical screening on landing. Those who have visible medical issues will be shifted to the isolation wards in Kozhikode or Manjero medical college hospitals.

Pregnant women, children younger than 10 years, people older than 75 years of age should quarantine at homes. They will be under the stringent observation of the health department. The rest will be accommodated at the COVID care centre arranged by the district administration.

Among the Kozhikode natives who can go home, there are nine pregnant women, five children younger than 10 years of age, and seven people older than 75 years. There are 26 others that come seeking urgent medical care.

Of the 85 people belonging to different districts, 51 come seeking urgent medical care. There are seven children younger than 10, 19 pregnant women and six persons older than 75, and two persons confirmed negative for coronavirus. They can quarantine at homes.
