THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A raid was conducted at a multi-storeyed textile mall which opened and was doing good business after violating lockdown criteria. The raid was held at a seven-storeyed textile shop in Attakulangara in the capital city. The raid was held by a team led by the tahasildar. They violated the criteria under the cover of operating the supermarket which is part of the mall.

Relaxation was given to textile shops having only one floor. The condition was not to open multi-storeyed textiles and malls. However, the textile shop opened violating all rules. The textile shop on the ground floor was doing good business. The raid was conducted after the footages started circulating.
