KOLLAM: The police registered a case against three people for fleeing from a government quarantine centre in the district. A woman who came from Chennai and her family fled from the centre and went home. Police forced and placed them in the isolation centre.

The woman, a native of Chathanur in Kollam and her father and sister who brought her from Chennai jumped the quarantine. They jumped the quarantine and left home last night. Chennai has the highest number of COVID patients in Tamil Nadu. There is a directive that people coming from COVID affected areas should move to government’s quarantine centers.
