RIYADH: A special Air India flight carrying 152 expats has taken off from Saudi on Friday and it will reach Karipur airport at 11 in the night.

There are 148 senior persons and four children in the flight. Among the women, 70 are pregnant.

The passengers were allowed to board the flight only after initial health check-ups as per the instructions of the health ministry. All have worn masks and gloves.

The cabin crew has welcomed the passengers after strictly abiding by international protocol and taking all health precautionary measures.
