THRISSUR: A native of Mathilakam Puthiyakavu in Thrissur died of Covid in Sharjah on Saturday. The dead person has been identified as Abdul Rasaq (Shukkur -49), the son of Puthiyakavu Pazhunthara Theparambil natives Ammunji and Kayyaya.

Abdul Rasaq was a driver in a construction company in Sharjah. He was diabetic. His disease was confirmed during the tests conducted after he developed body pain.

He died at 11:30 pm while he was under treatment. The funeral will be held in the Gulf as per Covid protocol.
