KOCHI: The Kerala HC will do a special sitting on Sunday to consider case regarding lockdown issues including the stopping of Malayalis at the state border. Many Malayalis were stranded at Valayar and Thalappadi check posts due to the unavailability of passes.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan reiterated that the entry through check posts will be only for those with passes. He added that stringent measures are taken to avoid the spread of disease in the state and those coming in from other states will have to follow the rules. He also said that those coming to the border without a pass will have to go back.
