KOCHI: The Indians stranded at Lakshadweep following lockdown reached Kochi in M V Arabian Ship. The ship carrying 121 passengers including students and government employees reached Sunday morning. The government has decided to place them in home quarantine as COVID-19 had not been confirmed in Lakshadweep so far.
The chief minister had asserted this in the press meet convened yesterday. Meantime, the pilot boat has ventured to the sea to bring the ship from Maldives to the port. The authorities said INS Jalashwa is expected to reach in the morning.
