KOCHI: One of the passengers who reached Kochi from Maldives has been shifted to a hospital due to high fever. 698 evacuees reached Kochi from Maldives. Of that, 440 are from Kerala. There were 187 from Tamil Nadu, nine from Telangana, eight each from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, three each from Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, and one each from Goa and Assam in the ship.

Seven buses arranged by Tamil Nadu Government to carry natives of Tamil Nadu reached Kochi and returned with them. Those from other states will be in quarantine in Kochi itself.
