THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Recent reports claim that a clash had broken out between migrant workers and police in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. The clash broke out near Oruvathilkotta after around 670 migrant workers staged a protest demanding the authorities to arrange for their return to native states.

It is learnt that some of the migrant workers had pelted stones at the police and Pettah CI got injured during the clash. The migrant workers in the district staged the protest demanding arrangements for returning home. They also accused the authorities of ignoring them even while labourers from other district were ferried back to their native places.
