DOHA: The Doha-Thiruvananthapuram Air India flight cancelled on Sunday will leave from Doha today. The flight will leave at 4.30 pm local time and 7.30 pm (Indian time) from Doha. The flight with the passengers will reach Thiruvananthapuram Airport at 12.45.

The flight was cancelled due to some technical reasons and the details of tomorrow’s journey will be informed to the passengers today, tweeted the Indian Embassy in Doha. Issues related to exit permit and those having travel ban will not be allowed to travel. Nearly 44,000 non-resident Keralites had registered to return to India following COVID-19 in Indian Embassy’s online. The embassy has prepared a list of passengers on priority basis.

There are 181 passengers in the flight from Doha to Thiruvananthapuram. Of them, include pregnant women, patients, people coming for emergency treatment and some losing jobs. Hotel accommodation was arranged for nearly ten passengers by Indian embassy’s organisation Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF). They got the help of ICBF after the passengers scheduled to travel in the flight cancelled yesterday evacuated their accommodation.
