THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Police Chief Lokanath Behera has informed that from now onwards ,those who are applying for inter-state pass should ensure that they already have Covid E-Jagratha pass issued from Kerala.

The DGP has sent emails to DGPs in other states, pointing out this fact. He has also requested other states to provide the option to enter the details of Covid E-Jagratha pass issued by Kerala in their portal for applying inter-state pass.

“Those people wanting to come to Kerala from other states should register with Kerala government’s Covid E-jagratha pass. Once they get the pass from Kerala, they can apply for pass in the state they are starting from.

Both these passes are mandatory for the passage through authorised check-posts to Kerala,” informed the DGP.
