THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State government will request the Centre to allow public transport within each district in Kerala.
This suggestion was raised in the high-level meeting called by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday.

There is also suggestion for reopening restaurants and hotels where customers shall be allowed to take food after following social distancing norms.

A list of suggestions including the abovementioned ones has been prepared by Kerala and it will be sent to the Centre soon for its permission.

In the list, requests are also there for restoring train service within the State, permission for operating Metro train and permission for running auto-rickshaws.
