THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the Vande Bharat Mission second phase, a special flight carrying 182 passengers from Abudhabi landed in Thiruvananthapuram at 11.15 pm on Saturday. Among the passengers, there were 133 men, 37 women including 18 pregnant women, seven children, and five babies.

There were 63 sick persons among the passengers. 87 of the returnees have lost their jobs and nine were stranded in UAE on tourist visas.

This is the second flight to Thiruvananthapuram as part of the Vande Bharat Mission. The first flight was from Doha last week which carried 181 passengers.
