THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: School admission procedures in the state has been postponed following the Centre's decision to extend the nationwide lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The schools were about to begin the admission procedures from Monday. As per the guidelines issued by the Centre, schools should remain shut till May 31.

The state government guidelines in the fourth stage of lockdown will be issued on Monday. A decision regarding SSLC exams will be taken tomorrow. A high level meeting presided by the education minister will be held tomorrow.
