KOTTARAKKARA: Renowned poet Deepa T Mohan(45) passed away in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. She had been undergoing cancer treatment for the last 6 months.

Deepa, who started writing poems through her blog, later went on to publish a collection of her poems. She had been living in Thiruvananthapuram for the last 5 years.

Deepa is survived by her husband CV Mohanan and son Dhimin T Mohan.
