PALAKKAD: Activists with utmost belief will be protected and if betrayed will face dire consequences and that is the policy of the party, said CPM Palakkad district secretariat member and Shornur MLA P K Sasi. He said this while welcoming people who joined the CPM from Muslim League recently in Karimbuzha panchayat. He started his speech by talking about the speciality of the party. The footages of nearly twenty people have been revealed.

A meet convened at a time when the district collector imposed section 144, which prohibited assembling of four or more people in the area, has stoked a controversy. Almost fifty people led by Radhakrishnan, Muslim League activist and 16th ward member of the panchayat, joined the CPM after resigning from the Muslim League.
