ERNAKULAM: Kerala high court has filed suo-motu case against the government in connection the with existing water level of dams in the State.

The action came in response to a letter sent by Justice Devan Ramachandran in this regard to the Chief Justice.

“In several dams in Kerala, the current water level is very high. Taking into account the possibility for floods, the water level in dams should be adjusted,” pleads the letter.

The high court will consider the case on Thursday.
