IDUKKI: A police driver got suspended after he tried to humiliate a woman SI in police jeep during night patrolling. The incident happened at Thodupuzha station recently.

The police driver who faced action was Siyad.

The woman SI who is due to retire shortly had gone for night patrolling in the police jeep and Siyad was with her. The very next day the SI complained to a higher official. The driver was suspended after an internal inquiry was conducted based on the complaint.

Siyad was in Idukki S R Camp before and he reached Thodupuzha police station as the driver through work arrangement.
