THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert to all districts in Kerala as it forecasted widespread rainfall in the state for the next four days. According to the IMD, the state might experience monsoon earlier than expected as low-pressure areas are likely to be formed over the southeast and east-central parts of the Arabian sea.
Fishermen have been warned against venturing into the sea till June 4. This would be the first low-pressure area formation over the Arabian sea this season.
