THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth was beaten to death in a drunken brawl. The dead has been identified as Shyam of Kattachalkuzhi in Balarampuram, Thiruvananthapuram. His friend Sathi is suspected to be behind the incident. The police is continuing search for him.

Shyam, an auto driver was staying for rent in Kattachalkuzhi. A verbal dispute broke out between the two Saturday night. The residents nearby said there are regular fights between the two daily.

The migrants who were at the spot informed the incident to the police. Though he was taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
