KOLLAM: In a recent development, the police have made a major breakthrough in connection with the Uthra murder case after they recovered Uthra's gold that was buried in the yard next to Sooraj's house. It was Sooraj's father Surendran who showed the police the spot where the gold was buried. Following this, the Crime Branch has started interrogating Surendran.

According to sources, Surendran might be arrested soon. It must be noted that the ornaments recovered today were taken back from the locker ahead of Uthra's death.
