KOLLAM: A ten-member goonda gang including a KAAPA case accused dashed into the house of a youth and stabbed him to death.

The dead has been identified as Udayakiran (25) aka Kichu, the son of Murukan-Anitha couples, who are the residents of Vadakkum bhagam Pullikkada Puthuvil Purayidam.

The incident happened at Kadappakkada Uliyakovil Kothethu Nagar at 11pm on Tuesday.

The police have arrested three-time KAAPA accused Motta Vishnu, Jithin, Sharan and Vishnu. The search is on for the other accused.

Earlier personal rivalry is said to be the reason behind the murder.

The gang which reached the house on bikes first attacked Udayakiran’s aunt’s son Prakash. Udayakrian who reached the house this time on his bike was stabbed by Motta Vishnu on his chest two times with a knife.

Though he was first admitted to a private hospital, he was soon rushed to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College but he died by 4 am on Wednesday.

The victim was a Septic tank cleaning contractor.

Motta Vishnu, who also sustained injuries during attack, is now in a private hospital under police guard.
