THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala High Court will consider the plea filed urging to suspend online classes till arrangements are made for all the students of the state. The petitioner pointed that many children do not have the basic facilities. The plea alleged that the online system for conducting special classes was not proper. C C Girija of Vellarikkundu in Kasargod and mother of fourth and fifth classes’ students approached the high court. The plea requested to direct government to arrange online classes for all children of government schools. The government ordered on May 29 to start online classes from June 1. The petitioner said that since it was Saturday and Sunday it was impossible to make arrangements for the online classes.
Meantime, the government has decided to extend the trial period of the online classes by one week. It was earlier informed that the trial of the online classes would be in the first week of June and later the re-telecast of these classes. The cabinet which convened here yesterday decided to increase the time of the trial to two weeks. The government is planning to solve all the defects in two weeks.
