KOLLAM: A youth beat his friend to death at Kureepuzha in Anchalummoodu, Kollam under the influence of alcohol. The dead has been identified as Jose Marsalin (34) of Thandekaddu Colony in Kureepuzha. The police has taken the accused Prashanth into custody. A fight broke out between the two while consuming liquor last night. Jose made fun of Prashanth and in a fit of rage, the latter beat him to death.
