KOCHI: Dr KA Sugathan(90), son of social reformer and freedom fighter Sahodaran Ayyappan, passed away in England on Thursday. He was suffering from age-related ailments.

Sugathan, the elder son of Ayyappan, had left for England soon after completing MBBS. After doing FRCS, he started practising in Blackburn and settled there. He is survived by wife Susan, children Paul Sugathan and Samantha Ryan.
