KOLLAM: Pooyapally police have arrested a man for entering the house of a couple and attacking them after a dispute over rubber tapping wage.

The arrested person is Pooyapally Mylode Kappumamvila house resident Raju aka Chinkan Raju.

The victims of the attack are Pooyapally Mavelimukku Rekha Nivas resident Bhaskara Pilla (62) and his wife Leelamani Amma (59).

Raju is known to have demanded excess wage, leading to the row. The arrest was carried out by a police team led by Pooyapally CI Vinod Chandran.
