BENGALURU: Chiranjeevi Sarja, prominent Kannada film actor and husband of actress Meghana Raj, passed away due to a massive heart attack in Bengaluru on Sunday. The 39-year-old actor is also the nephew of popular South Indian actor Arjun Sarja.

It is learnt that the actor had complained of severe chest pain and breathing difficulties on Saturday and was rushed to a private hospital in the city. However, the actor breathed his last by around Sunday evening.

The actor got married to actress Meghana Raj in 2018 after a ten-year relationship. The couple had recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary. Chiranjeevi was last seen in the film Shivarjuna which released in March. Meanwhile, four of his films are in various stages of production.
