THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As the part of revoking lockdown in a phased manner, more relaxations came into existence from today (Monday). All government employees, except those in containment zones, have been asked to go to office. This is applicable to all employees in public sector units, semi-governmental organisations, Cooperative institutions and all offices will become fully operational.

Temples, malls and hotels have started cleaning works ahead of their reopening on Tuesday. But, worshipping centres will function with stringent restrictions. In temples, there will be no admission for people above 65 years and below 10 years.

Customers in hotels and restaurants will be allowed to occupy half of the total seats, and they will have to follow social distancing norms. Cinema halls and children’s parks will not reopen.

Meanwhile, temples in Maharasthra, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Arunachal Pradesh will not open for the time being.
Restaurants will remain closed in Punjab. Temples, restaurants and malls in Delhi will reopen though there is no permission for hotels there to reopen.

The schools all over India will reopen only in August and after that month, schools will be reopened only in phased manner. A decision on this will be taken only after August 15.
