MUVATTUPUZHA: The Muvattupuzha police on Monday nabbed Basil Eldhose, the youth who hacked his sister's lover in Muvattupuzha. It is learnt that Basil was arrested from an isolated building in Muvattupuzha town.

Basil, along with his friend, had attempted to murder Akhil on Sunday evening when Akhil came to a medical store in the town. The reason behind the crime was Akhil's relationship with his sister. Earlier, the police had arrested the 17-year-old boy who accompanied Basil on Sunday.
