THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that Kerala is likely to receive heavy rain in the coming days. Following this, yellow alert has been issued in various districts on different days.

A yellow alert has been issued in Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargod on June 11 and in Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargod on June 12. The districts in which yellow alerts will be in place on June 13 are Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargod. Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargod will be under yellow alert on June 14. Meanwhile, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargod have received a yellow alert on June 15.
