KOTTAYAM: Kanjirappally police, investigating Anju Shaji suicide case, have said it will consider the inquiry report prepared by the University on Cherppungal BVM college over the suicide committed by the student after she was alleged of copying in the exam.

The result of forensic lab test of handwriting on the backside of Anju’s hall ticket will come out within two days. The test is being conducted after allegation was raised by the college authorities that she had copied in the exam. The investigation team had collected Anju’s old notebooks from her Kanjirappally house and have sent them to the forensic lab in Thiruvananthapuram.

The result will come out on Monday. Meanwhile, the police have expanded the team investigating Anju’s suicide.

The three-member committee appointed by the University had found out that Cherppungal BVM college had committed grave mistake in the case of Anju Shaji.

The report given by the University will also be included in the police investigation. On the basis of the report, the investigation team will again record the statement of the college principal and teachers.
