PALAKKAD: Yet another infant death has been reported in Attapadi. The deceased has been identified as a 23--day-old daughter of Ranjith and Rajitha, a couple hailing from the Kuttappan colony in Mully. This is the 6th infant death in Attapadi this year.

It is learnt that the child was underweight and was referred to the MES Hospital in Perinthalmanna as it was suffering from various health issues.
