THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: According to the new lockdown guidelines issued by Kerala government , people who are on a short visit to Kerala should return on the eight day.

Such people should not stay here for more than seven days. If they overstay, a case will be filed against them.

Those who are visiting Kerala for a short period will have to register through Covid Jagratha Website for entry pass. Passes will be issued by respective district collectors. Once they reach Kerala, they should straightaway go to the place of stay and should not go anywhere without the permission of the government.

Earlier, quarantine relaxations had been given to officials and professionals who are on a short trip to Kerala. If they overstay, cases will also be registered against companied or institutions they are associated with, according to the new guidelines.

In the new order, relaxation has been given to candidates coming here to write exams. But they also should not stay here more than seven days. Those who write exams should not go to other places. They should also not stay here more than three days after the exam.
