Vanitha Vijayakumar, who shot to fame after featuring in Tamil Big Boss 3 is all set to tie the knot. The marriage will be held on June 27 in Chennai. The actress is getting married to Peter Paul, a visual effects director. This is her third marriage.

Paul is a noted visual effects director working in Tamil, Bollywood and Hollywood. It started as a friendship and soon grew into love resulting in marriage.

The actress made her debut as heroine opposite Thalapathy Vijay in Chandralekha released in 1995. She later acted in some Tamil and Telugu films. She has also acted in the Malayalam film Hitler Brothers. After acting in Devi in 1999, she turned to serials. She was active in TV shows and then entered as a contestant in Big Boss 3.

She got married to Akash in 2000. She left the film industry after marriage. The two got divorced in 2007 and has a son and daughter. In the same year she married Anand Jai Rajan, a businessman and has a daughter. The couple got separated in 2012. Vijay Sreehari, Jovitha and Jainitha are her children.

She returned to the film industry through Rajavaga Pokiren in 2013.

She is the daughter of actors Vijayakumar and Manjula Vijayakumar. Actors Sreedevi Vijayakumar, Preetha Vijayakumar, Kavitha Vijayakumar, Anitha Vijayakumar and Arun Vijay are her siblings.
