AHMEDABAD: A Malayali woman allegedly committed suicide in Ahmedabad after testing positive for coronavirus. The deceased has been identified as Minu Nair who lives at Meghani Nagar in Ahmedabad.

Minu, an Ahmedabad city court employee, had been suffering from fever for the last few days, sources said. Following this, she underwent a test for COVID-19 and her results returned positive on Thursday morning.

Minu is survived by a son and a daughter. Her body was cremated in Ahmedabad as per COVID protocol.
