THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The rise in the number of COVID-19 patients in Thiruvananthapuram with unknown source of infection has put the district administration to tighten restrictions in the city.
Minister Kadakampally Surendran said the source of the patient hailing from Manacaud confirmed of the virus is not known. The route map of the driver has been released. Those who have travelled in his auto KL-01 BJ 4836 should inform the health department.
A meet of corporation councillors and officials will be convened tomorrow to discuss ways to prevent the transmission of the disease. A meet of MLAs will also be convened to review the situation. All steps will be taken to prevent the disease, the minister said.
