KOZHIKODE: In a huge ganja haul, Kozhikode town police have arrested Koduvally Karuvanpozhy native V Nishadudhin (33) and Thanoor Sumajiyanthakathu native S Subeer (25) with 52 kg ganja.

The accused was caught in the probe conducted after finding a car parked under suspicious circumstances on South beach. While checking the car, ganja in packets were found inside the car. Those who were nabbed told the police that they had brought ganja from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.

They were into the process of making small packets of ganja and delivering them to those who are in need of it.

People including school-college students had been their permanent buyers. Police believe that the arrested are part of the racket and they have started further probe into the case.
