PATHANAMTHITTA: Thiruvalla police have filed a case against woman activist Rehana Fathima who made her minor children paint pictures on her semi-nude body and uploaded the video of the same on her YouTube channel.

The case under non-bailable charges was filed based on a complaint filed by BJP OBC Morcha State secretary A V Arun Prakash.

Earlier, State Child Rights commission had ordered to file a criminal case against Rehana Fathima.

The Commission clarified that it is necessary to probe the criminal act under various provisions of POCSO Act.

“The police cyber cell should take urgent steps to remove the widely shared video from social media. Pathanamthitta district Child Welfare officer should inquire into the living condition of children seen in the video and submit a report within ten days.
