THIRUVILVAMALA: Serial actress Ardra Das’ house was attacked on Wednesday. According to the complaint, a gang of people arrived at Ardra’s house, beat her mother and destroyed plant pots and household commodities.

It is believed that the reason behind the attack was some dispute over border. Pazhayannur police have started investigation into the incident.

It was on last Saturday that a gang attacked her house at Pattiparambu. Besides destroying the plant pots in front of the house, the hooligans also smashed electronic devices inside her house.

In the complaint, it is said that the gang had assaulted her mother Sivakumari and hurled abuse at her. “They were taking revenge for lodging a complaint against them for creating trouble in the area after getting drunk,” she said.

The police said border dispute between Ardra’s family and neighbor had been going on for some time. There is also a case against Ardra’s mother for allegedly attacking her neighbor with a stone.
