THRISSUR: Pazhayannur police on Thursday registered a case against 10 persons for allegedly attacking serial actress Ardra Das' house. The actress' house at Pattiparambu was attacked this Saturday. Only Ardra's mother was present in the house when the attack took place.

As per the complaint filed at the police station, a gang of people had arrived at Ardra’s house, beat her mother and destroyed plant pots and other household commodities. Ardra's mother was later rushed to the hospitals by some of her relatives.

According to Ardra, the gang attacked her house as revenge for lodging a complaint against them for creating trouble in the area after getting drunk. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, police had earlier registered a case against Ardra’s mother for allegedly attacking her neighbor with a stone.
