THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Newly-appointed Child Rights Commission Chairman M Manoj Kumar has said that those who have the right to decide on my credentials prior to my appointment have done it.
“I was not appointed as the chairman because of my relationship with the chief minister. Those who entrusted me with the job are fully convinced that I’ll do my duty. I need not answer questions regarding my experience in Child Rights front. I have the experience of working as a PTA member.
The other day the chief minister had said at his press conference that Manoj Kumar is highly qualified to take up the post of Child Rights Commission Chairman.
“He will be able to perform things in the right manner. He is an energetic and active person,” he had said.
