KOTTAYAM: It has been confirmed that the death of the youth, who was in home quarantine after coming from abroad, was not due to COVID-19. The youth identified as Manjunath (39), a native of Kurumulloor died at the Kottayam Medical College Hospital on Thursday. The result of his swab samples was obtained this morning.

He was admitted in the hospital following health issues. Though he was taken to the hospital, his relatives alleged that treatment was delayed.

However, the hospital’s explanation is that the delay occurred as two patients arrived at the same time.
