THIRUVANANTHAPRAM: The district administration has released the route map of the fisherman, a native of Poonthura Puthenpally, confirmed of the virus through contact in the capital city. The route map has included the places he travelled and the time of the visit.

The man who came with the fish from Kanya Kumari harbour on June 8 at 6.30 pm reached his house at Puthenpally on June 9 at 2.30 am. He went only to Arun Automobiles on that day in the afternoon. For continuous 11 days from June 11, he went to Kanyakumari, bought fish and returned home. On June 22, he reached PRS Hospital and on the 23rd he again went to Kanyakumari and then returned home.

He had gone to PRS and Al Arif Hospitals on June 24 morning and then on June 25 he again went to Al Arif hospital in the morning and evening. He was fully at home from June 26-28 and on June 29 he gave his swab samples for testing. He was admitted at the General Hospital on June 30.

The district administration has tightened restrictions in the capital city with the increase in number of patients with unknown sources of COVID-19. Neyyattinkara Vazhuthoor, Balaramapuram Thalayal, Poonthura, Athani Lane in Vanchiyoor, Palayam Market, Saphalyam Complex have been made containmen
