ATTINGAL: The Attingal judicial first class magistrate court on Saturday directed the police to book nearly 100 persons including B Sathyan MLA for Covid protocol violation. According to the court the MLA and others must be charged under section 4 and 5 of the Epidemic Diseases (Amendment) Ordinance, 2020.

The court made the direction as per a complaint which claimed that the MLA and others had violated the Covid protocols during the inauguration of the renovated Karakkachi pond in Attingal.
