THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a major gold haul at the Thiruvananthapuram Airport, the customs seized gold from a diplomatic baggage. The gold was seized from the diplomatic baggage which came to UAE Consulate in Thiruvananthapuram. The gold seized from air cargo are being examined.

The gold came in the form of a parcel. Checking and other procedures were completed quickly as it reached as a diplomatic baggage.

On suspicion, the customs checked it again. Reports said kilograms of gold were seized. Who sent the gold and for whom is being examined?

The UAE Consulate is at Manacaud in Thiruvananthapuram. More details are awaited.
